STAND AND DELIVER
Producer: Thanks Tina
Friendship is debatable.
Stand and Deliver is a high-octane queer dramedy about the horrors of high school, debating, and high school debating.
Abigail, Bryn, Sonnie, Madeline, and Olivia are seasoned high school debaters ready to slay some speeches – if they don’t slay each other first. With the shadow of their missing leader Rachael looming over them the team must race against the clock to pull together their case in under an hour. But as lollies are eaten, friendships are tested, and secrets threaten to surface, they must scream to make their voices heard – for better or for worse. After its acclaimed debut at the Hayman Theatre, Thanks Tina is thrilled to present the return engagement of Stand and Deliver.

Nobody attending a housewarming party expects to be stuck inside a barely-furnished apartment for a month.
Following a mysterious government announcement to stay inside at all costs, a group of people – ranging from friends to strangers – are forced to take shelter in the living room of Will’s tiny apartment. Among the survivors are Mollie (the unofficial group leader), Livia and Violet (besties), Connor (the conspiracy theorist) and Kit (a recluse). As time goes on, patience begins to wear thin and food runs out. The survivors plot their escape, but conspiracy theories and paranoia abound, and suspicions begin to drive the group apart. What’s really going on? And why is the local news reporter acting weird?
