In ENRON, one of the most infamous scandals in financial history becomes a theatrical epic. Mixing classical tragedy with savage comedy, the play follows a group of flawed corporate workers in a narrative of greed and loss which reviews the tumultuous 1990s and casts new light on the financial situation we find ourselves in.

“My challenge as the director is to find a way to connect to the humanness of the characters within the highly stylised nature of the work”, says Director and Hayman Theatre Artist-in-Residence Katt Osborne. “Audiences can expect the production to be a fun and engaging cautionary tale.”

ENRON, the 4th major production from Curtin’s Theatre Arts and the Hayman Theatre Company’s 2024 season, offers audiences a powerful and thought-provoking theatrical experience. With its very limited season, you won’t want to miss this riveting tale of the largest corporate collapses in history.

“…a sharp-witted and rollicking business thriller to dazzle the eye and tickle the brain…” Time Out magazine (USA)

“There is superb clarity in Prebble’s story-telling…” Daily Telegraph (UK)
