SUNDAY NIGHT THEATRE

For over 25 years at Curtin, the Hayman Theatre upstairs and Performance studies has presented a programme of 2 short one-act plays (approximately 40 minutes each) on Sunday nights. Dramas, comedies, contemporary Australian and International plays, and new works are all performed, directed & stage managed by Western Australia's newest theatre practitioners.

22nd March
" LAST LINES"
Written and Directed by Karly Pisano
Adapted from Udo Grasshof's "Let Me Finish", Last Lines presents in dramatic form the final letters of five people who have ended their life.

"VINEGAR TOM"
Written by Caryl Churchill
Directed by Warwick Doddrell
"Women have slippery tongues and cannot conceal from other women what, by their evil art they know". In a small English Village, a group of women are suspected of witchcraft.

Sunday 29th March
"2012: AGE OF THE MACHINE"
Written and Directed by Frederic Amoroso
In a very funny near future many believe that something terrible is going to happen....many are sceptics and others don't care. Are you ready to witness the end of an era and the beginning of the new?

DRACULA

An unknown and inexplicable horror has come to England. In a race against time, Van Helsing must battle his own personal demons to save the life and soul of Jonathan Harker's beloved Mina. The Hayman Theatre Company's production of Dracula returns to the terror and tragedy of Bram Stoker's original story.
